This cozy cottage rental is located on New Zealand's stunning Kapiti Coast and can accommodate four guests. Peacefully situated in an olive grove of 800 trees, this modern-build glamping property contains two bedrooms and one full bathroom. The first bedroom has a large king-size bed, two nightstands, and a lamp. The second bedroom has two smaller single-size beds, ideal for younger children. In the bathroom guests will find a toilet, a sink, a walk-in shower, and a bathtub. Linens and towels are provided.
The spacious living/dining area is tastefully decorated in warm, neutral colors, with patio doors overlooking the beautiful tree-lined grounds of the property. The lounge contains one sofa, two armchairs, a glass coffee table, and a flat-screen TV with a supporting unit. A small dining area features a table with six chairs and, adjacent to this, is a fully equipped kitchen, with a kitchen island, an oven, a microwave, a kettle, a dishwasher, and plenty of worktop space.

This peaceful detached cottage is located on the stunning Kapiti coast of New Zealand, just north of Wellington, an area distinguished by its long sandy beaches, dramatically enfolding hills, rural bushland, and winding rivers. Ten minutes to the south of the property is Waikanae. Voted New Zealand's most beautiful town in 2015, the site boasts beautifully preserved nature reserve and multiple hiking trails, while the protected waters of Kapiti Island, a short ferry ride away, are home to an abundance of marine life. Centrally located, this tranquil spot is the perfect base from which to explore the local attractions. Guests can wander to the end of Otaki Gorge Road and explore one of the descending paths leading to the gorge at Otaki Forks. This provides access for picnicking, swimming, fishing, and other watersports such as rafting and kayaking. Alternatively, a drive to State Highway 1 will reveal a road lined with designer shops and outlets, with something to suit every budget. Kapiti Island houses some of New Zealand's rarest plants, and birdwatchers will not want to miss the local bird sanctuary. The Loco Miniature Railway at Otaki provides fun for all the family.
