This accommodation offers two different types of glamping experiences. The luxury coastal tents are situated on the cliffs overlooking Karioitahi Beach, New Zealand, and the Totara Tree Tent is located approximately nine miles inland from Castaways Resort in beautiful New Zealand native bush. They both sleep a maximum of two people with a king-sized bed fitted with quality linens. The tents also have a stunning outdoor bath with incredible views of the surrounding wilderness. Each tent has an odorless compost toilet, a sink, and a shower. The tents are heated so they are ideal for any time of the year.

Glam Camping packages are available for one-, two-, and three-night stays. If guests are interested in a multiple-night stay, be sure to say that when submitting a booking request so the owner can readjust the price and inform guests of the inclusions.

Guests are provided with an electric golf cart upon arrival to provide easy access to the luxury coastal tents.

The Totara Tree Tent is located nine miles away and can be reached by electric bike, which is supplied by the resort.

Sunbathe on the beautiful patches of sand, enjoy the sprawling stretch of Tasman sea, and experience all that New Zealand’s coastline has to offer. A day trip to Auckland is also highly recommended, where guests can enjoy the iconic Sky Tower and a visit to the extinct volcano.
