"Fantastic property in a beautiful, tranquil location. The photos do not do it justice. Lyn and Dave are great hosts. Everything about the property is…"
Tucked away in the gorgeous island forestry of Tutukaka, this luxurious, family-friendly villa is situated on the coast of North Island, New Zealand, right near Kowharewa Bay and Whangarei, making it the perfect vacation spot for fishing, swimming, exploring, and eating incredible seafood. The villa has three bedrooms and two bathrooms and can comfortably accommodate six people.
In the first bedroom, guests will find a queen-size bed with a white canopy draped over it, creating a serene environment for guests to find rest. Burgandy walls keep the room feeling warm, while the large window brightens everything up and allows sunlight to stream through during the sunny mornings and afternoons. The bedroom contains a cushioned bench beside the bed, so guests can put their shoes on or take a moment to rest in the room without hopping into bed. An intricately detailed wooden vanity sits beside the window and provides an especially sunny spot for guests to get ready each day.
The next bedroom also features a queen-size bed and also has a breezy, white net hanging down across the bed. Sun bounces off the walls in this room and fills every corner with a soft light, and a mirror and a spacious table can be found resting against the wall between the two windows. The third bedroom has two extra-large twin beds and a nightstand with a small lamp. The bedroom also has a bright window for daytime sunshine. The two bathrooms have a toilet, a sink, a bidet, and a bathtub/shower combination. Bath towels and linens are provided by the host, and laundry facilities are available at no extra charge.
The open living area has a large television next to the wood-burning fireplace that heats up the common room on chilly nights. High ceilings and white walls enlarge the space, and two plush couches and mismatched chairs provide comfortable areas for guests to unwind. The living area also features a chandelier hanging from the ceiling and unique wooden masks scattered along the walls above the windows. Mismatched lamps, a tall grandfather clock, and patterned cushions bring character to the relaxing space, making guests feel comfortable kicking off their shoes and settling in after a day spent at the beach.
The fully-equipped kitchen comes with an oven, a stove, a microwave, a large sink, cutlery, cookware, a refrigerator/freezer, and all of the counter space in order to create fantastic meals that the whole group can enjoy at the six-seater dining table located just off the kitchen. Bright windows can be found on every wall in the spacious common area and kitchen, and multiple doors open out to the deck that wraps around the villa. The deck features a wooden table, and a loveseat with two chairs beside it, and the yard is lined with chaise lounge chairs for sunbathing.
Guests can spend the day outside, grilling up tasty food to serve at the outdoor picnic table, relaxing in the covered jacuzzi, playing games at the croquet courts, or tackling the life-size chess board.
The property comes with many facilities to ensure the ease and contentment of each and every guest, such as air conditioning, ceiling fans, heat pumps, electric blankets, and heated towel rails. Egyptian cotton linens and plush towels are provided, and there are laundry facilities.
Outside, guests will find a multitude of amenities, such as a barbecue grill with a connected table, boat parking with a boat ramp nearby, and a spacious private driveway that allows for ample car parking.
