Guests are only a 30-minute drive from the beautiful vineyards of the Waipara Valley and about an hour drive from the Hanmer Springs Thermal Pool. Furthermore, both Arthur’s Pass National Park and the coastal city of Kaikoura are about two and a half hours away. The nearest international airport is Christchurch International Airport.

The coastal town of Kaikoura makes for a perfect day trip and affords guests the opportunity to go whale watching and catch glimpses of other majestic animals.

Wine aficionados can make their way to the sprawling vineyards of Waipara Valley, where they will be able to tour wineries numerous wineries, learn about the art of winemaking, and try different vintages.
