Plan and take your weekend getaways! The ideal Westport accommodation located in Birchfield, West Coast Region of New Zealand. A relaxing and quiet stay overlooking the alpine line and spectacular views of the Tasman Sea— definitely one of the best tiny house rentals on the South Island.

The Space:
It is located in the small town of Birchfield, West Coast Region, perfectly set on 6 HA of land with any location for a tiny house. Cape Foulwind Walk, Takarunga/ Mount Victoria, and short day trips to Tata Beach-Tasman, Patons Rock, and Ligar Bay are just a few of the small coastal settlements and popular attractions in the area.

A comfortable Westport accommodation with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. The bathroom, however, follows ecologically sustainable principles, including an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste-holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers) for your use.

It sits in a small town in Birchfield, West Coast Region of New Zealand. Where you can explore beaches, scenic sites, bushwalking, and mountain biking trails. One of the best tiny house rentals, and only a 4-hour drive to Patons Rock, Ligar Bay, and Tata Beach-Tasman, are a few of the area's small coastal settlements.

Our local recommendations:

- Takarunga/ Mount Victoria is Auckland's highest volcano, rising to 66 meters in height.
- Denniston Coal Mining is a historical site known as New Zealand's largest-producing coal mine.
- The Cape Foulwind Walk has a rocky headland and a viewpoint overlooking a New Zealand fur seal breeding colony.
- Charming Creek Walking Trail, which is a 2-hr drive from the West Coast, is a walking (or mountain biking ) trail that leads to a disused railway line via tunnels, bridges, and deep gorges.

- Firewood is $50 per tub
- No smoking allowed on the property
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- Telstra, Optus, Vodafone, 2degrees, and Spark have good mobile reception on the property
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge

- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property
- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- In order to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of our cassette toilets a minimum additional cleaning fee is applied for stays of 5 nights or more. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring a hygienic experience during your stay.
