This magical eco-retreat is situated on the southern tip of Isla Cristobal, where we have six charming cabins lining a beautiful coral reef and a lush jungle teeming with sloths and monkeys. In this cabin there are four king-size beds, a queen-size bed, and a sofa bed. There are hammocks and extra beds can be provided. The nature lodge boasts eco-friendly toilets and bamboo showers, and towels and linens are provided.

The maximum number of guests we can host at a time is 16, and there is no minimum. There is an extra $30 pp charge for each guest after 12.

There are staff available to cook locally sourced meals and provide tours of the lush surrounding jungle.

This Panama glamping site is located on the southern tip of Isla San Cristóbal, a remote tropical island known for a healthy coral reef and 55 acres of jungle teeming with wildlife. Guests should be aware that there are no roads, bars or restaurants, it's for the adventurous who want to experience rural life in the tropics, making it one of the most unique Panama vacation ideas. If guests need to head into town, they may be able to tag along in the hosts' boat for a small contribution for gas, otherwise a private trip must be arranged with the hosts for a fee.

The fantastic coral reef offer great snorkeling, swimming, and kayaking opportunities, giving guests the chance to encounter colorful fish and even dolphins. On land, the jungle is home to howler monkeys, parrots, iguanas, and more, and a friendly sloth may even come pay you a visit. The hosts offer a number of boat tours around the area, allowing to marvel at the tropical beauty of the island while enjoying the thrill of the boat.

Guests should note that this is a rustic place, not a luxury retreat. Guests should expect to:

WEAR BUG PROTECTION when being outdoors during dusk and dawn. There are screens so guests are protected from bugs indoors.

THERE ARE NO RESTAURANTS nearby and only one of the cabins has a kitchen, so most guests choose to participate in our meal plan. Our rotating teams of private chefs offer delicious communal meals for an additional fixed fee. Guests are asked to contact hosts to arrange this.

TO GET HERE, please ask us about our rideshare service, which is included in the $60 cleaning and transporation fee that you are charged at booking. We offer daily trips to either Bocas Town or Almirante. If you’d like to participate, please contact hosts.

FEEL, SEE, HEAR, AND SMELL NATURE: Guests should expect to hear monkeys, see spiders, and feel tropical storms.
