This exquisitely romantic hut is situated among the breathtaking forest trees and the age-old city of Marvão, Portugal, and provides couples with the perfect glamping getaway in one of the most beautiful destinations in the world. As guests wander on into their luxurious accommodation, they will be greeted by a spacious, fully-furnished section that is home to a glorious king-size bed adorned by luxury bedding in the center of the room, where guests will be able to relax on and read a book or engage in deep conversation discussing a long day of sightseeing and adventure.
To the right of the bed, glampers will find a lovely little dining area for the two of them, while the well-equipped kitchenette is found towards the back of the hut, enabling guests to prepare themselves delicious home-cooked food in the privacy of their own space. The full bathroom features a toilet, a sink, and a walk-in shower, as well as towels that the hosts provide.
Outside, glampers will find a private wooden deck area on which to relax and sunbathe while looking out over the Monte Roxo hills. There a spot to barbecue for some al fresco cooking under the sun, while taking in the sumptuous views. Guests will also enjoy access to a chlorine-free swimming pool, perfect for taking a dip on a hot summer afternoon. The hut is located right in the middle of Serra de São Mamede Natural Park, so there are plenty of opportunities for hiking and cycling.
Exclusively for adults, each rental is made up of a six and a half meter diametre decagon with exterior walls covered in 100% cork, a natural thermal and acoustic insulator, a natural thatched roof and a private 5x4 meter wooden deck. The self-catering rental is fully furnished with heating, air conditioning, luxury bedding, a fully equipped bathroom, and a kitchenette perfect for preparing simple meals.
On arrival, guests will receive a welcome starter pack for their first breakfast, just perfect for two. Outside, there is a private deck area on which to relax, sunbathe, barbecue, and eat al fresco while taking in the views of the Monte Roxo hills. On the grounds, there is an environmentally-friendly chlorine-free swimming pool, a restored traditional well, and shaded areas provided by the cherry, tangerine, fig, nut, and olive trees.

Positioned in one of the most exquisite places to venture to in the world, surrounded by lush forest and stone walls, the glamping site provides guests with a plethora of adventures to enjoy in the area. To get to the Marvão, guests will have to start the 2,838-foot climb near the village of Portagem. Glampers have the option of seeking out an accompanied private guide or making a solo trip while walking through the age-old village of Marvão, viewing the neighboring castle and shops, and stroll down to the remains of the ancient Roman city of Amaia to take pictures of what once was a thriving town.
Guests can also venture through to a five-day walking/hiking trip through the wonders of inland Alenjento which includes meandering along mountain ranges, through national parks, and along historical paths flanked by centuries-old granite walls. Marvão and the surrounding Alenjento landscape is a historical area that thrives on its tourist attractions, a serene and blemished countryside that will provide guests with unimaginable beauty and a rich introduction to the history of the area.
