Set just a short drive from the gorgeous city of Vila Real, Portugal, this delightful cabin rental is the perfect option for a glamping getaway. The cabin is ideal for couples as there is one bedroom on the top floor of the rental that is accessible via a steep set of stairs. Here, glampers will find a comfortable double bed dressed in lovely linens. Two additional guests can also be accommodated in the cabin thanks to the sofa beds available on the ground floor if necessary.
In the main living area on the ground floor, guests will have no trouble making themselves at home as there is plenty of comfortable seating and also a deluxe wood-burning stove to heat the entire rental. In addition, guests will find a full kitchen inside, with all the amenities they could possibly need to cook up a storm, along with breakfast items to enjoy in the morning.
Heading outside, the rental has a delightful terrace that is furnished for both dining and relaxing in the sunshine next to the stream.
This rental is well-equipped with everything needed and more for a relaxing glamping stay. Linens and towels are provided and the hosts provide bio-friendly toiletries for glampers to use. Guests can also enjoy hiking and cycling if they are keen to explore further afield, with an extensive network of trails available to discover in the area.
Glampers should also be sure to find time to enjoy a ride on the train that heads to Pocinho via a scenic river route. Alternatively, boat trips can be enjoyed on the Douro river, with access points at both Pinhão and Peso da Regua. The beautiful city of Vila Real is definitely worth a visit and makes a great spot to pick up souvenirs in one of the local boutiques to take home for loved ones. Guests can also enjoy a quiet afternoon sampling some of the delicious local produce at one of the wineries in the area.
