This glamping site was founded in 1998 and is located at the peninsula of the Lima and Tamente rivers, inside of the Peneda-Gerês National Park in a place called Entre Ambos-os-Rios, in northern Portugal. The Peneda-Gerês National Park was named a World Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO. It is one of the greatest natural attractions in Portugal with its rare and stunning scenic beauty and the ecological and ethnographic value and variety of fauna (roe deer, ponies, wolves, birds of prey) and flora (pine, yew, chestnut, oak and various medicinal plants). It extends from the mountains of Gerês in the south, through the mountains of Peneda, to the Spanish border.

Near the camping site guests’ll find the Castle and Dam of Lindoso with its spectacular views, and the São Bento de Ermelo Monastery, famous for its tasty oranges originally planted by monks. Guests’ll also be close to Soajo village with its “espigueiros” (authentic small stone constructions for the storage of corn and other grains) and beautiful mountain ranges with waterfalls and natural lakes.
