The non-hunting forest reserve is a UNESCO World Heritage Site consisting of diverse birdlife, lush rainforest flora and fauna, and idyllic waterfalls. The Guma Trail, starting from the Guma dam, is a popular road that provides excellent opportunities for birding and wildlife viewing. Glampers can go hiking, off-roading, mountain biking through the mountains. Additionally, glampers will be just half an hour from the pristine sandy shores of Sierra Leone's picturesque coast. Glampers can go swimming, boating, sea kayaking, snorkeling, or simply relax on the beach with a book or tropical cocktail.
For a break from the great outdoors, glampers can visit the vibrant capital city of Freetown known for its historical role in the transatlantic slave trade. On the city's waterfront, glampers will find the King’s Yard Gate, through which former slaves walked to freedom.
