In fact, Plettenberg Bay is a seaside town, meaning guests won't have to travel far to enjoy the amazing surf breaks on offer at the sandy Central and Lookout beaches.

Heading south from the property, guests keen to explore the area will be able to enjoy wandering the trails in Robberg Nature Reserve. The rocky peninsula is home to the impressive Stone Age Nelson Bay Caves and makes a great spot for photos and spotting some unique local wildlife. Alternatively, guests can head to Birds of Eden - set north of the property - which is a huge free-flight bird sanctuary buried in a scenic indigenous forest, which also operates as an elephant sanctuary.
