This rental is perfect for those who enjoy walking, nature, and ecotourism. The valley and its surrounding mountain range, the "Serra de Tramuntana," a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a favorite destination for people from all over the world, and within easy reach of the cottage. The mountains and sea shore are also great places for a walk, especially in the cooler months of autumn, winter, and spring. There is a network of paths through the mountains, many of them cobble-stoned, that were built and used by travelers from one town to the next.

Glampers can also simply indulge in a peaceful getaway, away from the hustle and bustle of the better-known tourist traps. Budding painters and photographers can capture the beauty of nature, as the views never fail to please, from sunrise to sunset. Glampers can make the short journey down to Port de Sóller itself, and spend the day at the beach, bathing in the crystal clear waters. Water sports such as kayaking, canoeing, and boating are also available.

If glampers prefer dry land, the village itself is a definite must-see. Take a stroll along the marina, or visit the two museums or botanical gardens, as well as taking in all the rich architectural heritage. Another attraction is the Sóller Market. It is well worth taking the time to wander around, as the stalls inside offer a variety of high-quality products at reasonable prices—ideal for the perfect souvenir.

Additional info

The hosts hope that guests will enjoy the peace and tranquility of this mountainside accommodation. Guests are asked to be mindful, as water is a very scarce resource on the island this year, so they should make sure to not leave taps running unnecessarily.

One of the joys of being here is seeing all the local wildlife, but the sheep and goats can be very destructive, so guests are asked to keep the gates to the accommodation closed at all times to prevent them from getting in. They should also not add any water or any other liquid to the frog pond, nor put their fingers or anything else in the water, as that disturbs the wildlife who are very happily living there.

The stone floor in the living room is new and unsealed, so guests must be careful to not spill anything on it. For this reason, they are also asked to not enter the house with wet feet. If anything should spill on the floor, guests must wipe it up and dry it straight away. When leaving the accommodation, or if it gets very windy during the stay, glampers must make sure all of the windows and shutters are securely closed. The key for the shutters to the big picture window are hanging on a hook between the living room curtains and the front door.
