Description

This thatched-roof cottage rental is located on top of a mountain near Lushoto, Tanzania, and can accommodate four guests. It has one studio-style bedroom and one full bathroom. In the bedroom, guests will find a double-size bed and a table with two chairs. There is also space in the cottage for two extra single-size beds. In the bathroom, guests will find a sink, a toilet, and a shower. Linens and towels are provided. There are large windows by both the bed and the shower, providing views of the surrounding environment. The cottage also provides guests with a small kitchen in which they will find a gas stove.

Other amenities include solar lights. Outside, guests will find a platform from which they can enjoy stunning, 270-degree views of the West Usambara Mountains and the plains below. When the sky is clear, guests can see all the way to Mount Kilimanjaro. Around the site, guests will find a gift shop, a playground, and an on-site restaurant with Wi-Fi. At the site, guests will find a playground, a gift shop selling locally made artwork and crafts, and a restaurant that serves a variety of local and Western cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Guests will also have access to Wi-Fi and conference rooms during their stay.

The site is eco-friendly, with solar panels providing its main source of energy. The site is also dedicated to reinvesting its profits into development projects in the local community, encompassing education, healthcare, infrastructure, and entrepreneurship.
