We have a total of 7 non heated camping pods, all the same in size. Each comes with 2 good quality single beds and mattresses for a comfortable night’s sleep. The beds can be pushed together to make a double, or if they’re placed in an L shape, you can even fit a double airbed in.

Pods sleep 2 adults (max) and up to two children (or three small children if they can fit on a double airbed – this is a squeeze). You just need to bring all your own bedding and additional airbeds/roll mats & bedding if bringing your children.

All 7 Pods are insulated to keep to a nice temperature.

During the cooler months, we recommend you bring warmer bedding or extra layers.

Our Pods don’t have electricity connected so it’s an authentic camping experience – but if you do need to charge phones or plug in your hairdryer, there is plenty of power available in the nearby Communal Lakeside Lodge. Or you can hire a battery pack on site if you’d rather charge your device in your Pod.

Pods each come with a fire pit. Wood can be purchased on-site.

Disposable BBQs are available to purchase on-site. There are bricks available to put them on.

Bookings also include 24hr access to the beautiful Lakeside Lodge which has a kitchen including a kettle, microwave, toaster, fridge/freezers, three wet rooms with toilets/ 24hr hot showers, and a large common room with tables & chairs and vending machines. The Carp lake is home to Carp upto 36lb. Day tickets must be pre booked via Swimbooker. The lake is surrounded by wildlife and has been planted with native trees and hedges to blend in with the surrounding countryside. It’s not unusual to see wild deer as well as the usual suspects (rabbits, squirrels, pheasants, and a large selection of birds including kingfishers, hawks, and owls).

There is a large field for children to play on in the pod area. Campfires and BBQs are allowed and even encouraged. Firewood is available to buy online when booking or directly on site.

Nearby Attractions:
This site is only a 15 minute drive from the attractions of Blackpool, The Pleasure Beach including Europe’s tallest roller coaster, the Pepsi Max Big One, Blackpool Tower & Dungeons, The Sea Life Centre, Sandcastle Waterpark, Blackpool Zoo, Madame Tussuads, and of course the Illuminations.

Or for those looking for something a little more on the quiet side, there are various local heritage walks and cycle routes around the Fylde coast, as well as a host of world-renowned golf courses and traditional country pubs. The nearest country pub is the Eagle at Weeton, only a short 30 minute walk from the site (or 5 minute drive).
