This accommodation is easily accessible and you can park your car right beside the yurt.
Inside you'll find a Vispring super king bed, luxurious bedding, linen and towels. With bedside lights, fairy lights around the perimeter and a dual control electric blanket, we have added all the little extra details to make it a truly luxurious and magical experience. Sleeping in the round with cascading roof poles and stargazing through the rooflight is magical!
There's a log burner to quickly heat the whole yurt, together with a radiator for the cooler months, a dining table, sofa, chest of drawers and chairs.
Attached to the yurt is a beautifully crafted en-suite bathroom which is the epitome of rustic luxury. Clad in cedar from a neighbouring wood with a piping hot shower, flushing toilet, sink with backlit mirror, heated towel rail and complementary organic toiletries – we have thought of everything.
Outside is a huge larch-clad deck with an outside dining table –perfect for al fresco breakfast, lunch or dinner, soaking in the beautiful views over our stunning natural swimming lake, ancient apple orchard and across the valley and out over the beautiful West Dorset hills.
Next to the deck is your own Kadai firebowl area for campfires, BBQs, and cooking over fire.
The yurt has its own attached kitchen accessed from the deck. It is fully kitted out with a fridge freezer, gas cooker, sink with hot and cold mains drinking water and all crockery, cutlery, cups, glasses and cooking utensils you will need - some guests cook extravagant meals, others just need the fridge chill their bubbles... either which way you should have everything you need!
Before you arrive, we will fill your log basket with dried logs, kindling and firelighters. Further supplies of logs and kindling can be purchased on site if required.

For more active and outdoorsy glampers, guests can go fishing in the West Bay, five miles away, or the Lyme Regis, 14 miles away. Glampers can rent some electric bikes and ride around the Jurassic Bike Trails, which is a great way to spend the day. Couples can also visit the vineyards and join a Wine Tour at the Furleigh Estate. In the summer, head to the fleet in between Weymouth and Portland and sign up with Weymouth Watersports to kayak, windsurf, or paddle boarding.
