I provide a unique accommodation in a secluded area of a private property, with sheltered seating areas and a hot tub. The hot tub must be booked separately for an additional £40. It is a 2,000-litre whisky barrel heated by a wood-burning stove. Please let me know in advance, and I will have it ready for you.

You are welcome to share my cottage, including the use of the kitchen and bathroom.

If you are a slightly larger group, please don’t hesitate to ask, and I’ll do my best to accommodate you.

The Space

If your dream is to spend some time in a tipi, you have found a very quiet and peaceful place. My property is a mile away from the main road and is located at the end of a dead-end road, with almost no noise or light pollution. I only have one neighbour, a very friendly couple with a lovely dog.

I’m located 5 miles from the Findhorn Foundation and 6 miles from the towns of Forres and Elgin. A bus leaves from the top of the road.

If you want to be completely looked after, I’m also a tour guide. If you prefer to be in total control of how you spend your day and change your plans according to your needs and wants, you can simply relax and enjoy your stay.

I’m also located in one of Scotland’s best climate zones and a very ancient area packed with history. Morayshire is home to a major whisky trail and many famous whiskies, not to mention some excellent golf courses.

I’m close to mountains, rivers, the sea, caves, castles, and much more. The area is perfect for outdoor activities, wildlife watching—including dolphins—and exploring the beautiful countryside and the history of the Picts.

The list is long, and in the end, you’ll have to come and discover it for yourself.

I’m looking forward to welcoming you, and I would love to introduce you to some great friends in the area, including the only hobbit in the Highlands and the longest-serving Loch Ness Monster hunter.

Guest Access

Guests will have access to the whole property, including my living room. I would like you to feel at home and am very interested in finding out what you are looking for during your stay.

You are not limited to the tipi, as I enjoy meeting people. Feel free to ask me to join you or help with anything. Otherwise, please let me know if you would prefer some privacy.

On the other hand, make me a good offer and you can have the whole place to yourself.

Of course, there will be times when I will not be available, especially if I’m booked for a tour with other customers.

All other 3 directions provide you with an endless open view of beautiful fields, mostly with barley for the whisky or very secluded through hedges. The place is very safe in a friendly surrounding. The wildlife is stunning and with a bit of luck and mainly silence, you can see the barn owl or pin marten.
