Set within a 428-acre estate, this stunning rental is in the picturesque area of Royal Deeside on the north side of the River Dee. It has endless views of the surrounding valley all the way to the Forest of Birse. The rental is only a 10-minute drive from the edge of the Cairngorms National Park, which has lochs, hills, and hiking trails to keep even the most experienced explorer happy. The rental is near various small villages where guests can find shops for any amenities needed as well as a variety of pubs and cafes. Even though the rental is surrounded by rural views and enjoys a secluded setting, the city of Aberdeen is only a 45-minute drive away. Aberdeen International Airport is the nearest airport and it is only a 40-minute drive from the rental.

This rental is a fishing paradise. On the estate itself, there are almost two and a half miles of fishing spots to choose from. This includes 16 pools. Although famous for its spring fishing, the summers are becoming increasingly popular for fishing fans in this region as well. Guests can expect to catch trout during their stay, and with the knowledge of a local who has been fishing in the area for almost 40 years, guests can't go wrong in this idyllic spot. For a round of golf, guests can head to The Royal Aberdeen Golf Club or The Cruden Bay Golf Club to name but a few stunning golf courses in the region.

Aberdeenshire is a wonderful area for any keen walkers or hikers. There are various routes of varying degrees of difficulty around Lower Deeside. Guests can also benefit from a chaperoned hike in the nearby hills and there is also the ancient Deeside Way to explore. About eight miles away from the rental is the Glentanar Equestrian Centre, who offer different levels of horseriding experiences. For a cultural day, there are numerous castles to explore, and with the Speyside Whisky Tours, guests can indulge in one of Scotland's most celebrated exports, sampling Glenlivet, Aberlour, Glenfiddich, and more.
