This secluded cabin getaway is situated in the quiet woodlands near Deep Creek State Park, Maryland, and can accommodate six guests. There are three fully furnished bedrooms and one-and-a-half bathrooms in this cozy cabin retreat. The first bedroom features a queen-size bed with a television, the second bedroom has a double bed with a TV, and the third bedroom has a twin bed with a TV. There is a roll-away twin bed available to sleep one additional person. The first bathroom features a toilet, a shower, and a sink. The second powder room has a toilet and a sink. Bed linens, towels, and basic toiletries are provided.
The welcoming living area features two comfortable sofas arranged around a flat-screen television. There is an additional living room in the spacious downstairs entertainment cave which features a fabulous bar with bar stools, a comfortable couch arranged around a large mounted flat-screen TV, and board games. The kitchen comes fully equipped with a refrigerator, an oven, a stove, a dishwasher, a microwave, a toaster, a coffee maker, a coffeemaker, and all of the necessary cooking utensils and essentials to prepare tasty homemade meals for the entire group. The attached dining room has a large table seating six people.
Outside, guests will find a fantastic covered porch with a hanging porch swing, a great place to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or glass of wine in the evening. There is even a hot tub to sink into for a luxurious soak after a busy day exploring, and a swing set to keep the kids occupied in the meantime.
Guests are invited to unwind at this relaxing retreat in the woodlands with plenty of entertainment. Outside, guests will find a covered front porch with patio chairs, a porch swing, and a gas barbecue for enjoying grilled meals in the open air. There is a pampering hot tub for indulgent nights under the stars and a swing set for entertaining young ones.
Another unique feature of the house is the downstairs entertainment cave, the perfect place to lounge and kick back at the end of the day. The spacious downstairs area has a large comfortable couch, a mounted flat-screen TV, and its very own bar with bar stools for guests to mix their favorite concoction while enjoying a good movie or playing games.

The area’s parks and forests include Deep Creek Lake State Park, Swallow Falls State Park & Muddy Creek Falls, Big Run State Park, Casselman River Bridge State Park, Garrett State Forest, Herrington Manor State Park, New Germany State Park, Potomac State Forest, and Savage River State Forest. In addition, some of the public waterways include the Potomac river, Youghiogheny River, Savage River & Reservoir, Yough Lake, Casselman River, Broadford Lake, and Jennings Randolph Lake.
Guests can visit Deep Creek State Park, less than 15 minutes away, for exciting days spent boating and fishing on the lake. The park fronts on a six-square-mile, man-made lake. Water sports of all kinds are accessible, and in the winter the park offers six miles of snowmobile trails. The park offers swimming, picnic, boat launching, hiking, and a variety of recreational opportunities in the resort area.
The spectacular nearby Swallow Falls State Park is a mountain park containing some of Maryland’s most breathtaking scenery. The Youghiogheny River flows along the park’s borders, passing through shaded rocky gorges and creating rippling rapids, great for whitewater rafting. Muddy Creek Falls is a spectacular sight, with a dramatically crashing 63-foot waterfall. Tall hemlocks dominate the silent woods, and the trails snaking through Swallow Falls guide hikers to some of the most stunning and rewarding scenery in Western Maryland.
The property is within close distance of Wisp Resort, Maryland’s only four-season downhill ski resort. Wisp is a skier’s and boarder’s playground with its over 170 acres and over 30 trails. With multiple terrain parks, freestylers can also get in on the action. Located along Deep Creek Lake, Wisp boasts 100 inches of natural snow annually. 34 trails span 172 acres to entertain skiers and riders on Wisp’s 700-foot vertical drop. Freestylers will find terrain parks for beginners through to advanced on which to practice progressions.
