This pet-friendly cabin rental is ideal for four guests to enjoy a nature getaway near Oakland, Maryland. The retreat has a plush double bed and there is a pullout sofa bed for any additional guests. The bathhouse is just a short walk away and linens and towels are kindly provided by the hosts. The cabin also comes equipped with a stove, a dining table, LED lighting, and a propane heater to keep everyone nice and toasty in the evening.
Outside, glampers have comfortable chairs on the porch, a large picnic table, and a fire-ring/cooking grill with extra seating which is the ideal place to cook up s'mores while stargazing and chatting late into the night. The property grounds are also perfect for exploring with many walking trails through the forest.
There is a share pavilion with a book and magazine library, sockets for charging cell phones and laptops, and board games. The modern bathhouse features full-sized showers, ample space for toiletries, and advanced ventilation. In addition, there are water facilities with deep sinks for washing dishes. Guests will have access to use the site's kitchen equipment and BBQ, and there is running water that is suitable for drinking. Cell service is also available here.
Glampers will be provided with comforters and blankets, but not with linens or towels. Though linens are not provided, they can be arranged if necessary for a small fee.

This glamping site strives to be eco-friendly. Guests should separate recyclable material and drop them at one of the many free recycling centers in Garrett County. Guest will receive an information book with a map to each location. Guests are not allowed to burn trash in the firepits, as this attracts animals and leaves an unpleasant smell.
Guests must be aware that bears are present in the woods surrounding this glamping site so should keep food securely contained inside the rental or in a vehicle.
There is a $100 refundable security deposit held on the guest´s credit card at the time of booking and will be released pending no damages to the property.

Considered to be a playground in the mountains, this property offers activities that are sure to delight the whole family. The photo scavenger hunt will get the little ones to enjoy nature and explore the wilderness. Children will also enjoy scouring the forest after hearing the story of Moeras the Leprechaun, who is said to roam the local woods. Glampers are recommended to bring a canoe, kayak, or inner tube to float along the river. The water has also proved exceptional for fishing, especially for small mouth bass. In addition, there are plenty of shallow parts for younger glampers to wade. The hiking trails will lead glampers to beautiful views and shaded creeks to spend a hot summer day. Other activities include bird and wildlife watching, biking, walking, local sightseeing and excursions, and photography.
