Hillsdale

Hillsdale is a town in New York state, which lies on the eastern side of the Hudson River, and close to the border into Massachusetts. It is a place that many people visit on camping trips, as there is a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere that intertwines with the natural world. Only a short drive away is the small but picturesque Copake Lake, where you can enjoy fishing in the warmer months, and across the border is Mount Everett State Reservation. Here, you can catch sight of local wildlife as you hike through a forested mountain wilderness. Along the Hudson River are a number of water-based activities to be enjoyed, as well as trails that run alongside it, which are punctuated with scenic views.
