Description of Glamping Units
This glamping accommodation can sleep two guests. A custom-made canvas and solid oak structure, it is 16 feet by 20 feet and built on top of a raised, wooden deck. It features a spacious living area with a queen-size bed that has a Tempurpedic mattress, as well as a pebble-tiled bathroom, complete with a hot shower including spa jets. An electric heater that looks like a vintage wood-burning stove is provided to keep glampers toasty warm for trips made during colder months and chilly nights in general.
The accommodation is located in the Upper Delaware River Valley, in the quaint hamlet of Narrowsburg, Upstate New York surrounded by the Catskill and Pocono.
There is a loveseat and a chair in the living room, and there are two hand-wrought twig chairs on the private deck for drinking a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. Bed linens and towels are provided—and even a custom-made pair of felt slippers for guests, made by the host herself. Narrowsburg is a community within the town of Tusten, a mere two-and-a-half hour drive from New York City. Glampers will really be able to get away from it all in this lightly populated area of upstate New York. Found between the Catskill Mountains and the Pocono Mountains, outdoor sports and activities are popular, both on land and in water, and even hunters and fishers have plenty to keep them busy in this area.
