This lovely camping getaway in New York is ideal for nature enthusiasts and Big Deep swimming hole is only a 10-minute drive away and is a great spot to relax on a hot summer's day. While on vacation in New York, guests will also be near charming local towns such as Kingston, Woodstock, and Saugerties and there are plenty of great hiking routes to explore.

The safari-style canvas tent sits on a raised platform and there's a plush queen bunk bed for a good night's sleep. The hosts remind guests that they should be mindful that there are wild animals in the woods. The hosts provide several other handy additions to ensure a lovely glamping retreat in New York including a large picnic table, an outdoor fire pit, two Adirondack chairs, and a heating source. Guests should note that linens and bedding are not provided.

The hosts were inspired by the bathrooms on NASA spaceships when creating the camp toilets. Before use, guests must line the bucket with a CleanWaste bag that is provided by the hosts, or a similar plastic bag. After use, the bag must be tied up and placed in the trash. The New York luxury camping site also has a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to five gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days.
