SPACE
Home sleeps up to 16 guests.

Main level:
Dine in Kitchen, Dining Room, Living Room, Primary Bedroom 1 (King bed) with attached private bath (stand up shower and soaking tub), screened in porch, and large deck with two large tables seating 16.

Second Floor:
Primary Bedroom 2 (King bed) with attached private bath (stand-up shower). Bedroom 3 (Queen bed) and Bedroom 4 (Bunk room: Twin XL over Twin XL and Twin XL over Queen). With a closet full of children's toys and books. Bedrooms 3 and 4 share a hall bathroom (with tub). Work space and balcony overlooking the floor living room.

Basement:
Living room 2 with a pool table, 4 4-person X-Men arcade games, and a marble card table. Full bath (stand-up shower) and mini kitchen. Bedroom 5 (King Bed and Twin bunk beds with a pull-out trundle) with attached half bath. Laundry room. Please note that the basement temperature is naturally cooler than the upstairs.

Garage:
Dry bar with fridge and lots of games, including shuffleboard, foosball, skee ball, air hockey/ping pong/pool table, and mega Jenga. Arcade games: digital Marvel pinball machine, 4-person NBA Jam, 2-person Street Fighter, 2-person old school game set including Star Wars, Atari, etc. Climate controlled with a mini split.

Deck/Outdoor:
Outside, you'll find our expansive deck with Adirondack chairs and two tables seating 16 people. 7-person hot tub and our 4-person sauna. Fire pit with Adirondack chairs. (Firewood is not supplied). A custom playset with swings. Large Connect 4 and toys. Walk down the drive to our private fishing pond with a dock. Our home is on 11+ acres, but we still have nearby neighbors. Please do not disturb our neighbors. No loud outdoor noise or music. Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am.

Please note that the driveway has an incline, and during the winter months when it snows, 4-wheel drive is recommended for easier access. We want all our guests to enjoy a smooth arrival, so please plan accordingly for snowy conditions!

NOTE: We utilize exterior security cameras to prevent large gatherings & illegal parties. We use Minut for noise, crowd, and occupancy monitoring devices. Minut automatically sends occupancy and noise alerts if indoor or outdoor thresholds are too high.

Approximately 30% of the rental revenue is given towards local charities and non-profits throughout Virginia. This home has been a respite for many pastors, ministries, and non-profit partners. If you’d like to share with us an organization, we are happy to consider adding it to our list.

ACCESS

Please note there are two closets and a couple of cabinets in the kitchen used by the owners.
The road leading to our house is narrow. There are lots of deer. Please drive slowly. The driveway leading to the house is steep. Please note that if there is significant snow, you will need a 4-wheel or all-wheel drive vehicle to make it all the way to the house before the road can be plowed.

Located just 15 minutes away from the breathtaking Shenandoah National Park, our destination offers an abundance of outdoor activities, including hiking, mountain biking, fishing, and much more, to delight nature enthusiasts of all ages.

Key Notes:
*Our beautiful home is in the woods, and you may encounter ladybugs and stink bugs during your stay. Our home is treated monthly.
*There are dogs at the neighbor's down the street, and now and then, they do manage to get out of their fence.

ADDITIONAL RULES
To reserve the home, guests must be at least 25 years of age.
*No smoking or vaping inside the home.
*No animals/pets - only if you have paid the pet fee
*No parties
*No swimming in the pond.
*No more than 16 guests
*Please respect our neighbors and reduce noise.
*We have septic. Not all feminine hygiene products can be flushed in the toilet. Please dispose of it in the trash bin.
*Locked closet doors and cabinets are off limits. Owners closets.

Hot Tub Rules:
- Adults must supervise children 16 and younger.
- 6 guests at a time in the hot tub.
- Must shower with soap and water before entering the hot tub.
- No bubbles, bath bombs, soaps, oils, or liquids of any kind in the hot tub.
- No glass or food in or near the hot tub.
- Always cover and lock the hot tub immediately after use.
- Never sit on the hot tub cover.
When using our hot tub, we require you to shower with soap first. If not, the oils from your body will quickly accumulate, leaving a dirty residue in the tub.

Please, do not ruin the hot tub experience for the next guest. Damage to the hot tub by not showering or following posted rules will incur a $250 fee for professional hot tub draining, cleaning, and maintenance. Damage to the hot tub cover will incur a $400 fee for replacement.


SAUNA RULES: Access to our sauna is granted only after agreeing to our basic rules below.
- ADULTS ONLY
- Must sit on a towel
- No more than two persons in the sauna at any given time.
- No more than 15 minutes of use without 30 minutes of rest.
