*In the heat waves of the summer, floor AC units may have a hard time keeping up with cooling.

ADDITIONAL RULES
Sorry, no pets are allowed on the property.
The minimum age required to rent the property is 25 years, and the person who books the cabin must stay at the cabin for the entire rental period. Sub-letting or parents renting for their children under the age of 21 is NOT allowed. No student groups or house parties of any kind will be allowed.
Financial Responsibility: Guests are financially responsible for all damages and additional cleaning fees, if necessary. Should the cabin be found in an unacceptable condition upon your departure, you will be required to pay for extra cleaning, damage repairs, replacement of missing contents, expenses resulting from agreement violations such as smoking in the cabin, trash left in the cabin, dirty dishes left unwashed, furniture moved, etc.
Children: Families are welcome, but the cabin may not be suitable for very young children. Guests are fully responsible for the safety, security, and behavior of their children at all times.
Smoking, fire extinguishers, and smoke detectors: There is no smoking allowed on the property. There are smoke detectors in the cabin; do not unplug or remove the batteries from them. There is a fire extinguisher and a fire extinguishing blanket in the kitchen in case of an emergency.
No hunting allowed on the property. Firearms, fireworks, and ATVs are strictly prohibited for recreational purposes on the rental property.
Check-out Procedures: Upon departure, guests are required to leave the property in the same general condition as it was when they arrived. Please comply with the following before check-out:
1. Dishes, pots, pans, silverware, and utensils should be washed and put away.
2. Windows and doors should be closed and locked. All lights turned off. 3. Turn off the Jotul propane gas stove. Check that all of the kitchen stove burners and oven are off. Turn the electric heaters down to the levels indicated on the device.
4. Leave linens on the bed. Hang up any wet towels. If a blanket, comforter, pillow, etc., has been soiled, please leave us a note regarding this so we can take care of it appropriately.
5. Make sure all fires are put out according to the steps in the Fire section in the guest manual, and there is no trash left in the fire pit or fire ring.
6. Check the refrigerator and take any leftover food with you.
7. Clean any rug/ floor spills, grease spatters, drink or food spills on the oven, dining, and kitchen surfaces.
8. Take all trash with you. You may leave recycling in the recycling container on the back porch. Make sure there is NO FOOD WASTE left on the porches, patio, in the porch trash can, on the picnic table, etc.
Alcohol and Illegal Substances: Use of illegal substances and irresponsible use of alcohol will not be tolerated. Guest(s) are liable for damages resulting from the use of illegal substances or alcohol abuse.
Housekeeping: Housekeeping is not provided during your stay. Necessities (soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, toilet paper, paper towels, dish liquid) are provided. Towels and bed linens are provided. There is a washer and dryer in the cabin for Guest use. There is no dishwasher in the cabin, so all dishes must be hand-washed.
Owner Storage: Guests have access to the entire cabin with the exception of a locked owner's storage closet in the basement. There is also a locked shed on the property for the owners.
Outdoor Gear: Kayaks, paddle boards, canoes, etc., are available for use at the Guest’s own risk.
