While suites are private, common areas like the entryway, parlor, and outdoor spaces are shared with other guests, creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Graceful and serene, this suite offers a quiet haven inspired by the beauty of the Shenandoah Valley. Located on the second floor, it features a comfortable queen-size bed dressed in soft linens, with vintage nightstands and floral accents that evoke the charm of an English garden.

The room is bathed in natural light from two large windows that overlook lush backyard gardens and towering trees. Guests often wake to the soft sounds of birdsong and glimpses of cardinals, blue jays, and finches flitting about. The soft green and cream color palette brings the outdoors in, while antique furnishings—including a delicate writing desk and a tufted armchair—add a timeless touch.

We kindly ask everyone to be respectful of quiet hours, shared amenities, and each other’s privacy. Please note: The space is heated and cooled using mini split systems, which are energy-efficient and help us maintain comfort without altering the structure of our historic building. The mini split in the shared guest space is set to 70°F for your comfort. If the area feels too warm or too cool, you're welcome to turn off the unit using the remote; however, we kindly ask that you return it to 70°F or turn it back on when you leave the space. Due to the limitations of a historic property, we also recommend bringing a personal fan for added comfort during the warmer months.
