Based in the village of Mineral in Louisa County, this stunning lakeside cabin rental can accommodate up to 25 guests and makes for an incredible glamping holiday in Virginia. The cabin’s stylish architecture has incorporated floor-to-ceiling windows at the front of the cabin rental to provide guests with phenomenal views of the lake from the living area and the wooden interior gives guests a homey and comfortable stay.
There are six bedrooms in total, the first includes a king-size bed and a twin, the second features two queen-size beds and the third comes with two singles and two double beds. The other three rooms each feature doubles beds and single beds. The lakeside cabin has three bathrooms that include toilets and showers with one also featuring a bathtub. Guests will find a powder room with a toilet in the half bathroom.
After a day out on the lake, guests will love the feeling of relaxing on the cozy sofas in the living room or enjoying friendly competition on the pool table or ping table in the magnificent games room. Meal times will prove to be sociable and entertaining, with three dining tables, a breakfast bar, and a spacious fully equipped kitchen that has plenty of room for multiple chefs.
Outdoors, guests can marvel at the views with a morning cup of coffee or an evening glass of wine on the deck or share stories around the firepit in the front garden. This spectacular waterfront home is based in the quaint town of Mineral in Louisa County, Virginia and is located just a short drive from the picturesque Lake Anna State Park. The property is nestled among tall trees just steps away from the lake shore and includes a large lawn and a deck that leads a the boathouse. Louisa County is steeped in history and guests can visit the site of one of the largest all-cavalry battles of the Civil War, the Battle of Trevilion Station, where General George Custer made his first “last stand”. In nearby Monticello, the former home Thomas Jefferson is a popular attraction all year round while many of Louisa County’s idyllic country roads pass by 19th-century homes and churches. Louisa County is a great glamping destination as it offers guests a wide range of activities all year round and extraordinary scenery to admire and explore. Lake Anne State Park is a short drive from the property where guests can bathe in the lake or lay on the sandy beach in summer time. The state park is also a must-visit for hiking, biking, and horseback riding trails with 15 miles of routes all around the park. There is a fishing pond and a boathouse that offers kayaking and canoeing while gold panning is popular coupled with tours of the old Goodwin Gold Mine.
Louisa County is renowned for its vineyards and wineries and tours of Weston Farm attract hundreds of visitors every year. The Sargeant Museum gives visitors an insight into the history of the area and its role during the Civil War and the Revolutionary Wars while nearby Monticello is the site of Thomas Jefferson’s luxurious former home.
