Cozy Safari Tent with Barbecue and Fire Pit in Mount Jackson, Virginia
Finally it's fall. Great camping weather. Electric blanket and propane heater. Half hour to Shenandoah National park. Or just walk our many fields and visit with our animals.
Secluded and quiet, and yet close to restaurants, caverns, wineries, battlefields and more. Or just hang out and watch the sun and the moon come up. Catch lightning bugs. Look at the stars from our outside bed.
For larger groups, we also have a cabin next door that sleeps 4.
Fire pit w/free wood and s'mores.
Large tent with a king-size bed and 2 full-size futons. Kitchen area and half bath with composting toilet. Outside picnic table, grill under canopy. Share fire pit with cabin guests. All linens supplied. Outside shower.
Feel free to tour the 83-acre farm with several separate fields.
I will usually try to meet you upon arrival. Other than that, I will leave you alone. You can call me with any questions. I do live on the property, so you will probably see me walking about and can answer any questions and fulfil any special requests.
