The Water Mine Family Swimmin 'Hole features Rattlesnake tubing on the Lazy River, a tot pool at Tenderfoot Pond, slides, tunnels, and interactive play features designed for young children. The Water Mine is open Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. A Virginia State fishing license is required, and sailboats, gasoline, electric-powered boats, and swimming are prohibited in the lake.
