Guests will be able to enjoy the best of rural life in this historic cottage, situated on 130 acres in the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia. They will be surrounded with exciting activity opportunities including, the chance to interact with over 100 friendly farm animals, or go swimming, fishing, canoeing, or paddleboating on the 2.5 acre spring-fed pond. There are also lush gardens and fantastic woods and pastures on the property to explore. Ten minutes from Shenandoah National Park, glampers will find world-class hiking trails, and a local community filled with award-winning art galleries, restaurants, wineries, breweries, and distilleries.

The cottage has two full suites, each with a large eat-in kitchen, living area, screened porch, one large bedroom, and bathroom. The first suite has a queen-size bed and twin bed, a rejuvenating whirlpool tub and shower, and fireplaces up and downstairs.

The second suite has a queen-size bed and double bed, a large tiled shower, and a wood stove downstairs. An adjoining door between the two living areas may be left open or closed for privacy making it perfect for families and friends. The kitchens are modern and fully-equipped. Other amenities such as Wi-Fi, games, a television, a DVD player, a video library, and books are provided.

The farm has plenty of animals from horses and chickens to cats, and dogs and guests are welcome to help out if they want to get stuck in. There is a washer and dryer and linens and towels are provided. Guests will have access to internet helping them stay connected. There is both heating and air conditioning making the cottage perfect all year around. Outside, guests will find plenty of parking along with bikes, water sports gear, and canoes.
