Coon Creek

Hidden away in the epically-proportioned hills and valleys of West Virginia, Coon Creek has some truly inspirational views to take in. There’s excellent hiking to be in enjoyed in the area, with quiet streams gliding across each valley floor and wonderful panoramic views to be found at the peak of every climb. The town’s aptly named home of Peaceful Valley gives glampers a wonderful space in which to retreat from life’s daily grind, and for those wishing to venture a little farther afield, Crown City Wildlife Area lies just to the north, across the Ohio River. A visit to Mill Creek Wildlife Management Area is a treat for ramblers, nature lovers, and photographers alike. There’s plenty to explore in the area and then there’s also every opportunity to just kick back and relax surrounded by swathes of beautiful countryside.
