Description of Glamping Units
There are two tree houses near Shawnee National Forest for glampers to choose from at this luxury camping site.
The first tree house can accommodate up to six guests. The accommodation has a queen-size bed, a full-size mattress in the loft, and a full-sized futon on the main floor.
The second sleeps four people, though it's said to be quite nice for a couples getaway for two. There is a queen-size bed, a Sleep Number bed in the loft area and a full-size futon on the main floor.
Both tree houses have a kitchenette with a stove, a toaster, a convection oven, a microwave, a refrigerator, and a coffee pot, as well as a bathroom with a shower and a toilet. There is an outpost store in an authentic 1850 log cabin that sells locally made artisan items, fair trade products from around the world, and basic supplies. There is a pond for catch and release fishing, a pavilion with games, archery lessons, and kayak rentals.
