Guests can wake up early in the morning and head to the Des Moines River and rent a kayak or canoe and spend the day rowing down the river. Glampers who love hiking and biking can make their way to the Keosauqua State Park to explore the countless trails while admiring the local flora and fauna. They can then head to the heart of Keosauqua to do a bit of shopping and grab dinner at one of the delicious restaurants. With deer, turkey, and squirrel, the Van Buren Wildlife Are is the ideal spot for avid hunters, while fishing enthusiasts can make their way to Lake Sugema and try to reel in largemouth bass, bluegill, black crappie, or channel catfish.
