This private and romantic suite getaway is located in Holland, Michigan, only a few miles away from the shore of Lake Michigan. This rental has one bedroom and one bathroom and can accommodate two guests. The bedroom has a king-size bed and a gas fireplace. The bathroom comes with a toilet, a sink, a whirlpool bathtub, and a separate shower. Linens, towels, and toiletries are provided.
The lounge area features a flat-screen TV with a DVD player and a video library. Guests will have access to a shared kitchen with a fridge, a dishwasher, a coffeemaker, a tea kettle, and a stove and oven. The inn is a couple of miles away from the shore of Lake Michigan, where there are 13 local public beaches. Guests can go swimming, fishing, boating, canoeing, and kayaking. Additionally, guests can go fishing and boating on Pigeon Lake and go kayaking on the Pigeon River.
Guests at the inn can walk to Pine Bend and Hemlock Crossing, where there are several miles of nature trails cutting through over 200 acres of scenic forest. Parts of the trails run along the Pigeon River. Guests can hike, ride bikes, ski, take photos, and view wildlife along these trails.
Guests can visit the beach at Grand Haven State Park for swimming and fishing, or go skiing and hike along trails through the forest. Additionally, guests can go hiking and enjoy bird watching along the lakeshore at Saugatuck State Dunes Park.
Holland has many golf courses, restaurants, and antique shops. Couples can pick blueberries at local farms, catch a performance at a theater, or tour vineyards and breweries. There are many local festivals from spring to fall, such as the Tulip Festival in May, the Blueberry Festival in August, and a Mardi Gras parade in October.
Guests can take day trips to Grand Rapids, where they can visit museums, art galleries, and a zoo. They can stroll through botanical gardens, or go shopping and dining in the city center.
