This picturesque lakeside four-season cabin is situated on Strawberry Lake, 23 miles north of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, and can accommodate up to four guests. This charming cabin features one bedroom, a loft, and one full bathroom. The bedroom has a luxurious queen-size bed and cellular black-out shades to ensure a good night's rest. The loft area has another queen-size bed, stunning high ceilings with knotty pine from floor to ceiling, and tempered glass security railings offering full views of the lake. The bathroom sits adjacent to the bedroom and has a toilet, a sink, and a spacious shower. Linens and towels are kindly provided by the host.

In the living room, guests will find a large plush sofa and chair, plentiful windows with views of the woods, a TV/DVD player, and doors that open directly to the deck. The full kitchen is equipped with all of the cooking utensils, pots and pans - including cast iron and supplies guests might need to feel at home. This includes a stove and oven, a microwave, a refrigerator and freezer, and a toaster oven. There is a cozy kitchen island where guests can enjoy a snack or watch the chef prepare meals. A four-place Scandinavian style Gateleg table is available for dining and playing board games. Other amenities include heated floors and walls, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, and a washer and dryer.

Guests can unwind on the screen porch, which features abundant outdoor seating and breathtaking views of the lake and woods. There is also a spacious front deck with patio furniture, lounge chairs, and wraparound bench seating. The deck overlooks a magical garden which is also home to the fire pit area. Additionally, guests have their own private boat dock with a complimentary canoe and optional rental boat/motor.

Although this property feels like a classic lakeside nature getaway in the woods, guests will be able to enjoy a wonderful array of modern and convenient amenities. The property was built in 2013 by local Minnesota craftsmen and features walls and floors with radiant heat. Guests will have a washer and dryer, a highchair and baby crib for younger glampers, complimentary Wi-Fi, and ample parking. The full kitchen is equipped with all of the cooking utensils, major and minor appliances, and supplies guests might need to feel at home.

Outside, there is a spacious front deck facing the water. Guests will have access to their own private boat dock, with a boat lift and a canoe for guest use. When the winter weather permits, guests can do cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, hiking and maybe go ice skating on the lake; afterwards, build a bonfire and settle around the outdoor fire pit area. The public boat access with a concrete ramp is located less than 0.2 miles from the cabin.

Whether glampers are seeking outdoor adventure or a relaxing retreat in nature, there is something for everyone to enjoy during their stay. Guests will have no shortage of options for snow sports and activities during winter months. The area is home to 250 miles of groomed cross-country ski and snow-blading trails, extensive snowmobiling, ice fishing, downhill skiing, and snowshoeing trails. Pine Lake in the Tamarac National Wildlife Refuge and Maplelag Resort are both great spots for snow sports, and both sites are located under 10 minutes from the property.

When the weather is warmer, guests can head to one of several nearby parks and nature refuges to experience their scenic nature trails. Guests can explore by hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, or by ATV or jeep. Of course, the region features countless sparkling spring-fed lakes for glampers to discover as well. Guests will be situated directly on Strawberry Lake, providing easy access from the dock to experience swimming, fishing, boating, kayaking, and canoeing. Guests can also enjoy golfing at Three Bears Country Club, a nine-hole course located just five miles from the property.

If guests are interested in dining out, Ice-Cracking Lodge (the hosts recommend the cheese curds and the "Thunder Burger") is a 15 minute drive through the Tamarac National Wildlife Refuge - an especially entertaining drive for wildlife viewing at dusk.
