Escape to our amazing property, a peaceful lakeside retreat located on a working cattle ranch in southeast Nebraska. Just over an hour from Lincoln and Nebraska City, our spacious log lodge is perfect for families, couples, or groups looking to relax, explore, and enjoy the great outdoors.
The Space
Our lodge features two full suites, each accommodating up to six guests. Each suite includes:
- A queen bedroom with a cedar log bed.
- A bunk bedroom with two sets of extra-long twin, rustic Aspen bunk beds.
- A full-size bathroom.
- A fully equipped kitchen for preparing meals, with the option to cook outdoors on charcoal grills.
- A great room with vaulted ceilings, log beams, a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace, leather sofas, dining room, and large picture windows showcasing stunning views of the prairie and woodlands.
The suites can be connected through French doors, making the lodge ideal for family reunions, weddings, or group gatherings. One suite is wheelchair accessible for added convenience.

The rental is about an hour from Lincoln, two hours from Omaha, and about two and a half hours from Kansas City.
Guests can use GPS to get to the village of Burchard, Nebraska. Guests should stay on these improved rock roads so they don't get stuck on a mud road.
From Burchard: three miles west on 712 Road and three miles south on 609 Avenue. At the intersection of 609 Ave and 709 Road guests need to go through the overhead gate and follow the rock lane to the lodge.
