The surrounding area also offers opportunities for hunting upland game, deer, and turkey. The hosts are also operators of Great Nebraska Hunting, which provides 1,000 acres of private land for hunting, with hunting packages available to guests.

The town of Eustis is fifteen minutes to the north. Here, guests will find the Eustis Pool Hall, the Darn-Small Pub, the Village PieMaker, and the H and J Grocery, where guests can purchase locally produced food products. Guests will find more shops and restaurants in the town of Lexington, which is about half an hour to the east.
