This homey vacation suite is based in a log cabin lodge in the heart of the Kootenai Valley in Northern Idaho and it makes for a superb getaway to Bonners Ferry and the natural beauty of Boundary County as guests are within easy reach of Lake Pend Oreille and Schweitzer Mountain Resort. The suite is also ideal for those traveling north on the International Selkirk Loop up to Canada where guests can enjoy a rejuvenating night’s sleep, good food, and take in the fresh mountain air.

The suite can sleep three guests with one queen-size bed and one twin bed that each come with comfortable linens and plush pillows while the room is spacious and warmly decorated with locally hand-hewn furnishings. Guests have access to free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV, allowing them to stay up-to-date with their favorite shows, and they can prepare snacks for the day’s adventures at the kitchenette where they’ll find a microwave, a refrigerator, and a coffeemaker.

The lodge has several communal facilities including a large dining where guests can order food and sit by the fireplace and there’s a living area with cozy seating, the ideal spot for a quiet read.
