Description of Glamping Units
This cozy room in a bed and breakfast is located in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, near Spokane, Washington, and can accommodate two guests. In the bedroom, guests will find a queen-size bed, a fireplace, a love seat, a desk, and a television with a DVD player. In the shared bathroom, they will find a clawfoot bath tub. In addition to the bedroom and bathroom, guests will have access to a kitchenette, a washer and dryer, a game room/television room, a dining room, a sunroom, and a great room/music room, which is lined with musical instruments that guests are welcome to play.
Throughout the lodge, guests will find antique furniture and original artwork by the host, who is a working artist and lives on site. Location + Surroundings
Surrounded by soaring pine trees and sweeping vistas of the surrounding alpine landscape, this property is located on a six-acre property in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Just a few miles to the north, the Spokane River flows toward the city from which it derives its name, as it emerges from the picturesque waters of Lake Coeur d'Alene, just a few miles to the east.
On the northern shores of the lake, about 15 minutes to the northwest, guests will find downtown Coeur d'Alene. Traveling a few miles further in the same direction, they will reach the western edge of Coeur d'Alene National Forest, where over 700,000 acres of forest await them. The forest forms part of the Idaho Panhandle National Forests, which is full of opportunities for outdoor recreation and enjoyment of nature.
Another central feature of the area is the Coeur d'Alene Mountains—part of the Bitterroot Range, a sub-range of the Rocky Mountains. On Lake Coeur d'Alene, guests can go boating, jet skiing, kayaking, and stand-up paddleboarding, with rentals available from a variety of local outfitters. Guests can also go rafting on the Spokane River. With the lake, the river, and numerous creeks in the area, guests will find many fishing spots as well.
Guests can play golf at Coeur d'Alene Resort Golf and Spa Resort, Circling Raven Golf Club, and StoneRidge Golf Course. Skiers can hit the slopes at the Mount Spokane Ski Area, Silver Mountain Ski Resort, Bear Creek Lodge, and Morningstar Lodge. Hikers will find hundreds of miles of trails at Coeur d'Alene National Forest and the overall Idaho Panhandle National Forests of which it is a part.
