This idyllic log cabin is located in Sun Valley, Idaho, and can accommodate fourteen guests. There are four bedrooms, four full bathrooms, and one half bathroom. There is plenty to do in the surrounding area. The Sawtooth National Recreation Area encompasses 217,000 acres, including some 300 lakes, 40 wilderness trails, and a forest of fir, spruce, and pine trees. The Redfish Outlet Lake is also well worth visiting, as it offers a picnic area, swimming, boat hires, hiking, and beautiful scenery overlooking the snow-capped mountains. The Sun Valley Visitor Center has a wide range of wood carvings and is also very informative on local history. The Sawtooth Botanical Garden has some beautiful sculptures and a large variety of plants. Furthermore, in the winter there are opportunities for visitors to go skiing in the surrounding mountains. The Sun Valley is well-known in American skiing history. This was the nation’s first destination ski resort, with the world’s first chairlifts, where the very idea of the American ski vacation was born.
