This glamping site is located just downstream from the best whitewater rafting in Montana. The world famous Alberton Gorge is a thrilling class 3, ten mile stretch of big waves, sandy beaches, and amazing scenery. The cabin overlooks a spectacular river setting with great fishing, swimming, volleyball, horseshoes, sports field, and a huge bonfire area.
Fishing at the site uniquely combines terrific trout size in good numbers with very low fishing pressure and the easement provides private access to over two miles of rarely fished trophy trout stream. Rainbow, Cutthroat, Brown, and Bull trout average 15 to 20 inches with some over ten pounds.
The beach has several sandbars, a perfect spot to sunbathe while the kids play in the river. Eagles and osprey often soar over the river pool formed by the cliffs on the shore across from the site and guests can marvel at how they swoop down on an unsuspecting trout.
The open hillsides on the mountains across the river provide opportunities to see deer and elk through a spotting scope or binoculars. Get a magnified view of the eagles and osprey as they perch in the trees or in nearby nests. The glamping site is surrounded by thousands of acres of forest with numerous mountain lakes. Endless miles of trails and roads provide the opportunity for hiking or riding bikes and other fun activities.
