This wonderful accommodation is located in Meeteetse, Wyoming, on the edge of the Shoshone National Forest. The lodge is just a five-minute walk to the lovely Lower Sunshine Lake and just 30 miles south of Cody, Wyoming. The world's first national park, Yellowstone National Park, is just 90 miles west of Cody. Grand Teton National Park is just 55 miles south of Yellowstone, putting both national parks within exploring distance of the lodge. The nearest international airport is the Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport which is 145 miles away. There is a closer regional airport, the Yellowstone Regional Airport, which is located in Cody.

Cody, Wyoming, is just 30 miles north of the lodge and has numerous historic attractions including the Buggalo Bill Museum and the Draper Natural History Museum. The recreated frontier town, Old Trail Town, is also nearby and has 1800's style log cabins and a saloon that guests can explore. Guests can also drive the Buffalo Bill Scenic Byway, which winds past craggy cliffs and ends up in Yellowstone National Park.
