Salisbury

Salisbury is a town in Litchfield County, Connecticut, and the northwest-most town in the state, which makes it ideal for glampers visiting from New York and Massachusettes. In fact, the city of Springfield, Massachusettes, is a mere hour and a half drive, and New York City just two and a half hours. The region is stunning, with sparkling waterways, lush forest, mountains, and valleys. Check out the lovely Bear Mountain, Connecticut’s highest mountain peak, which offers excellent hiking and fantastic panoramic views of the surrounding region. For a more challenging hike try out Lions Head, or head over to the Mt. Everett State Reservation. Head to O'Hara's Landing for an authentic New England breakfast on the water.
