These eight vintage waterfront sleeping cabins feature rustic décor and amenities such as full private bathrooms and running hot water. The main lodge is where meals are served (included in rates) and a handsome library with fieldstone fireplace. This “trapped-in-time” paradise is the traditional retreat for the avid angler and hunter. It also is perfect for family vacations or romantic getaways for the type of tourist who wants to truly escape from it all. There is no cell reception or internet connection and visitors like it that way because they get to disconnect from city hustle and simply enjoy themselves on a spacious porch that overlooks the pristine Lake Munsungan.
Nights will be dimly illuminated with gaslights, so glampers can leave their worries behind while contemplating the starry sky. Day trips while at camp might include a scenic floatplane ride, hike the trails around camp, canoe to a nearby beach for a picnic, hire a professional guide for salmon and trout fishing, board games inside and lawn games outside, and a jump off the dock into Munsungan Lake.
The main lodge offers tasty breakfasts, lunches, and dinners prepared by the camp’s chef, and there is AC power available during daytime hours for charging cameras and other equipment. There is no cell service; however, a satellite phone is always available for emergency communications or general need (for a small fee).
The cabins are cleaned daily and kept warm during cold seasons.
