Unique Tree House Rental with Stunning River Views on Coast of Maine

This unique tree house rental on the coast of Maine can accommodate two guests. The tree house consists of two elevated structures that are connected by a rope bridge and is elevated on posts and trees. During the construction of this tree house, the hosts used vintage and salvaged materials when possible.
It has a bedroom with a wall of south facing windows that open up to stunning river views, and it includes a king-size bed or two twin beds upon request. The second structure includes a small kitchen and a dining area with large windows for water views, a small full bathroom, and a screened-in porch with rockers, a napping couch, and river views. The fully-equipped kitchen includes a two-burner stove, a sink, a small refrigerator, pots, pans, dishes, and a toaster oven.
In addition, this tree house rental has views across a river bay and down the river to where the Back River meets the Kennebec River just before both flows into the open ocean.

There is plenty for glampers to do while on vacation in this coastal area of Maine. Reid State Park, with its beautiful, sandy beaches and hiking trails, is just a few miles from the property, further into Georgetown. Guests should be sure to visit the Five Islands Lobster Co. to enjoy the best lobsters, lobster rolls, fish sandwiches, corn on the cob, and harbor views. Five Islands Farm and Gourmet Market is also an excellent source of fine wine, beers, local produce, meats, cheeses, and gifts. The property is a ten-minute drive from the town of Bath which has great coffee shops, a bookstore, deli, grocery store, yoga studio, a barbecue restaurant, and Maine Maritime Museum. In addition, glampers will only be 20 minutes from Brunswick, home to a range of bars and restaurants, and an indie movie theater. 30 minutes away, there is Freeport, where the original L.L. Bean store and outlets are.

The hosts require a $100 damage deposit at the time of confirmation. This will be "held" on glampers' card and released back seven days after check out.
No smoking is allowed on the premises, and parties and events are not permitted.
As the hosts live on adjoining property, they will warmly welcome guests upon arrival, and someone will always be available by phone or in person to give some local tips and deal with any requests or queries.
Guests can enjoy a 25% discount when the tree house is booked for a week, and a 40% discount when it is booked for a month.
There is a three-night minimum policy to rent here, however, if a guest sees a two-day opening between other bookings, they should inquire with the hosts.
