Known for its collection of outdoor recreation, the town of Charlemont provides guests with an array of trails for mountain biking, hiking, snowshoeing and even a few for equestrian use. Some of the most popular trails include the Berkshire East Alpine Trails, located just south of Deerfield River, and the Mahican-Mohawk, Indian and Nature trails located a few minutes away from this property in the Mohawk Trail State Forest. Conversely, guests can see the area from above by ziplining through the forests with Berkshire East Canopy Tours.
For those who are looking to brave Deerfield's class III and IV rapids, whitewater rafting day trips can be arranged with Berkshire Whitewater. But it doesn't stop there, guests can go horseback riding, kayaking, and even tubing! For more relaxation, there is the Reggae Fest at Charlemont Fairgrounds and the Mohawk Trail Concerts, an award-winning summer concert series.
