We have taken pride in preparing the cottages to give you a pleasant and relaxing visit. Please respect the property as if it was your own.

By completing this reservation you are agreeing to honor this contract. Please notify us within 24 hours after email receipt of contract if you do not agree to the terms below.

Payments:

Deposit of 50% of the total booking amount is due at time of booking. The remaining 50% balance will be charged to the card on file 30 days prior to check in. If you choose to pay deposit by using Apple Pay, Google Pay or some virtual cards you may receive a payment request email when balance is due if the payment information has not been saved. If you wish to pay balance by a different payment method please contact the property.

Cancellation policy:

If Cancellation occurs 31 days or or more prior to arrival initial 50% deposit is non refundable. If cancellation occurs less than 30 days prior to arrival 100% of your payment is non refundable. Alternate dates may be offered for up to one year from original date of booking if availability is a option.

The way our payment schedule is structured is 50% of total booking amount is due at time of booking. The remaining 50% is due 30 days prior to arrival. Both of these payments are non refundable. You may use any payment(s) made as a credit towards a future stay within one year of original dates. This can be for the same cottage or any of our other cottages in a dollar for dollar manner. If you need to postpone your stay before second payment is made (more than 31 days in advance), the second payment then becomes due 30 days prior to your postponed arrival date.


Rental Rules:

1.) Primary renter must be 25 years of age or older and present during entire stay.
2.) NO PARTIES. A party is considered to be when total number of guests in your party exceed the overnight capacity of your cottage + 2 day guests as outlined in visitor policy below. If a party occurs you will be asked to have any guests in excess of visitors policy to leave the property. In some instances you may be asked for your entire party to leave the property and forfeit any booking payments made. Any events must be cleared by management through email before booking. This is to ensure a quiet relaxing and fair atmosphere for all of our guests.
3.) NO SMOKING. All of our rentals are non-smoking. By signing this contract, you are stating that you will not smoke in our vacation rentals. You will be charged an additional cleaning fee if evidence of smoke is found once you check out. This includes Marijuana smoke. You may smoke marijuana outdoors on our property except for in the tent, where posted or in the presence of children outside your party. Please be respectful of other guests.
4.) VISITORS: We consider The Lake House Guest Cottages to be a place where our guests can enjoy a restful vacation. In order to assure that our guests can enjoy this, we find that a visitor policy is necessary. Visitors are persons visiting registered guests for part of, or all day. A maximum of TWO guests per day allowed. This includes infants, children or adults. We ask that they be registered in the office upon arrival. Visitor hours are 9:00 Am- 9:00 Pm. You are responsible for all visitor/guest behavior.
5.) QUIET HOURS are from 10:00pm-8:00am. During this time music and loud noises are not permitted outdoors. Please be respectful of other guests.
6.) PETS. No pets are allowed during the peak season (April 1st-November 1st). Exceptions may be made for service or support animals with appropriate paperwork. Outside of peak season we will allow pets. There is a $50/night/pet fee with a maximum fee of $250/animal/stay. Additionally you will be responsible for cleaning up after the pet (inside and outside) as well as pay for the cost of any damages that may occur. If there are other guests present during your stay we ask that you keep your pet on a leash when outside your cottage. Please try to keep your pet from urinating on the grass or shrubs as that is harmful to them and we try to keep the grounds looking their best for all of our guests to enjoy.
7.) ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES. No illegal activities will be permitted on the property. If you or anyone in your party is found to be breaking the law you may be removed from the property and forfeit any booking payments made.
8.) You and your guests are using our home at your own risk. We nor the owner of the property will be held responsible for any injuries that occur at the vacation rental or for any lost or stolen items.

10.) Do not move the furniture.
11.) Do not do your laundry with ours; please always wash and dry your belongings separate from our linens.
