Fishing is excellent in Richmond Pond as it is stocked with a variety of perch, pumpkinseed, bream, bluegill, rock bass, bullhead, brook trout, brown trout, crappie, largemouth bass, and pickerel, so glampers will never be short of fish to catch. There are numerous hiking, biking, and water skiing options also available on this pond. The miles of hiking trails offer glampers the chance to engage with local wildlife, ranging from deer and owls to even the occasional bear. For guests in search of more of a thrill, water rafting trips, kayaking clinics, zip-line canopy tours, canoeing instruction, rock climbing classes, and kayak rentals are all offered in the surrounding area. Further afield, a venture into the local area will allow guests to discover countless rivers and forests, all accessible via the Mohawk Trail.
