At Wompatuck State Park, guests will find Mt. Blue Spring, from which they can obtain free spring water, along with an extensive system of trails that wind through 3,500 acres of woodlands. At the North River Wildlife Sanctuary, guests will find 225 acres of fields, oak forests, and salt marshes that provide habitats to seals and a variety of birds.
The vacation rental is about 50 minutes from Boston, where the nearest international airport is located.

At Wompatuck State Park, guests will find 12 miles of paved cycling paths and a system of trails for hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, and cross-country skiing. Another 2.5-mile trail can be found at the North River Wildlife Sanctuary, where guests will also find opportunities for bird watching and seal viewing. For more trails, guests can visit the Bates Lane Conservation Area, where they will find the Litchfield Trail and the Carl Pipes Trail.
Guests interested in kayaking will find a variety of routes to paddle around the coast of Scituate, such as the Gulf River Passage, the Minot Crossing, the Peggotty Loop, and the Spit Run. Both kayaks and stand-up paddleboards can be launched from nearby Minot Beach and Lighthouse Beach, which also has jetties from which guests can go fishing For fishing further out at sea, guests will book charters through local companies such as Enoch Charters and MBG Fishing Charters.
