Unique Treehouse Accommodation for a Secluded Granite Lake Getaway
Two hours from Boston, tucked into 1,000+ acres of New Hampshire forest, our handcrafted treehouse is built for two people who want to actually hear themselves think.
Inside the treehouse:
Cozy loft with queen bed under warm wood beams. Gas fireplace for chillier nights. Kitchenette with convection oven, fridge, sink, and coffee maker. Full private bathroom with hot shower. Fiber Wi-Fi (79 Mbps) if you want it — most guests don't.
Outside:
Wraparound deck among the trees. Fire pit below. Binoculars for spotting deer and wild turkeys. Big sky for stargazing — often the Milky Way is visible.
A welcome from us:
We greet you with a bottle of wine, a cheese board, hummus and crackers, and coffee for the morning. You won't need to run to the store.
Where you are: Two hours from Boston. One mile to Granite Lake beach access — bring a kayak or go for a swim. Fifteen minutes from Keene for restaurants and groceries. Quiet dirt road, no visible neighbors, 1,000+ acres of preserved forest behind you.
Optional themed stays — just ask:
• Writer's Escape — journal prompts and silence
• Unplug Weekend — digital detox with zero pressure
• Stargazer Stay — picnic basket, constellation maps
Best for adults or older teens (loft access via stairs). Our dogs and cats live on-site but respect your space. 4WD recommended in winter.

You're two hours from Boston, an hour from Manchester, and within easy reach of Mount Monadnock — one of the most-climbed mountains in the world. The dirt road in keeps traffic and noise away. Skies are dark enough for the Milky Way. Wildlife regulars include deer, wild turkeys, bear, and the occasional fox.

The town of Keene (15 minutes) has restaurants, breweries, a Saturday farmers' market, and the historic Colonial Theatre. In winter: snowshoeing on the property, downhill skiing at nearby Pats Peak, and cross-country at Windblown. Or do nothing at all — most of our guests pick "nothing" at least one day of their stay.
