Beautiful Cozy Cabin in Saunderstown, Rhode Island

Cabin in Jamestown, RI

4 guests • 2 bedrooms • 4 beds • 1 bathroom

Nestled just 900 feet from Jamestown's beloved Mackerel Cove, this hidden gem offers a glimpse of charming summer cottages along the rugged coastline leading to the open Atlantic. Escape into luxury and complete privacy at our newly built Coastal Cottage Loft, surrounded by mature cedar trees, expansive rhododendron, and beautifully landscaped grounds.

Your stay includes a private entrance for each bedroom, along with exclusive parking, enhancing the seclusion of this serene island retreat. The loft features two bedrooms: a comfortable queen bedroom and a convenient twin bed room, both with their own outdoor access. Each room is equipped with a large HD TV, while the shared space offers a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. One of the highlights is the stunning private outdoor shower, perfect for a refreshing end to your beach day.

Jamestown is one of Rhode Island’s best-kept secrets—a tranquil, coastal paradise. The island is home to historic farms, scenic parks, award-winning restaurants, locally-owned shops, and art galleries. Just across the bay from Newport, Jamestown offers an idyllic summertime retreat surrounded by the cool, clear waters of Narragansett Bay and the Atlantic Ocean.

Enjoy a scenic walk to Jamestown’s town center, where you’ll discover a picturesque harbor and marina, with the iconic Newport Bridge in the backdrop. Stroll by beautiful boats and private yachts, then explore local restaurants, shops, and Jamestown’s very own brewery. If you’re feeling adventurous, take a short ride on the Jamestown-Newport Ferry. This ferry not only offers convenient access to Newport, but also stops at the Rose Island Lighthouse, Fort Adams, and downtown Newport, allowing you to avoid the hassle of parking and bridge tolls.

While aboard the ferry, sip a cool cocktail and take in the unforgettable views of Newport Harbor—home to world-famous yachts. No trip is complete without a visit to Bellevue Avenue, where you can explore quaint shops and tour the historic mansions built by the tycoons of the Gilded Age.

One of the unique advantages of our location is the ability to take a short, three-minute walk to Mackerel Cove Beach—parking there is restricted to residents-only on busy days, making it a peaceful escape for guests. Our Coastal Cottage Loft is tucked away on a half-acre of beautifully landscaped grounds, offering a tranquil setting away from the road and plenty of privacy.

This charming island, just across from renowned Newport, offers a perfect blend of relaxation and beauty, with its historic farms, dramatic coastline, and unforgettable charm that will both relax and captivate you.
